Stephanie loves to write and enjoys using her arts background to share science in creative ways. She has written science articles and blog posts for a variety of different audiences and age ranges, including writing as a STEM travel blogger for elementary and middle-school students through Reach the World and as the Frontiers in Biology reporter for Wake Forest University's Old Gold & Black newspaper.
Stephanie wrote and produced a series of podcasts on natural communities and other features of national parks for the National Park Service as part of NatureServe's Explore Natural Communities program, and she is currently working on a similar series of podcasts based around her current work in Atlanta, the first of which was created as part of ComSciCon-ATL 2023.
Stephanie also represented the Georgia Tech College of Sciences in campaign videos for Transforming Tomorrow: The Campaign for Georgia Tech.
Her community outreach includes work with Science ATL and volunteering as a Role Model for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation's Fashion Funds the Cure.
